Role Description
As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving the company’s revenue growth by acquiring new clients within the HR tech space. This is a unique opportunity to pursue a greenfield territory and shape the go-to-market strategy for a category-defining solution. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closing deals, while acting as a trusted advisor to your prospects. This role requires a deep understanding of Talent Acquisition challenges and the ability to connect the company’s solutions to CFO-level priorities.
Responsibilities
- Execute the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing.
- Identify and target potential clients within the HR tech space, leveraging strategic outreach and social selling.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring sufficient coverage to meet and exceed targets.
- Conduct in-depth discovery to understand prospect needs and align solutions with their business goals.
- Develop compelling presentations, product demos, and supporting materials to effectively communicate value.
- Apply a disciplined sales process (MEDDPICC) to qualify leads, advance opportunities, and nurture client relationships.
- Navigate procurement, legal, and security reviews to ensure smooth and successful deal closures.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and monitor open deals to provide timely updates and insights.
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS sales with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Deep expertise in Talent Acquisition or HR tech sales.
- Proficiency with sales tools such as Sales Navigator and Salesloft.
- Strong ability to execute a full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in building and managing a robust sales pipeline.
- Ability to apply a disciplined sales process and navigate complex sales cycles.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
